Mission Statement

Valuing all human life, the Cumberland Crisis Pregnancy Center ministers hope to those experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, healing to those who have experienced abortion, and upholds truth to our community through sexual risk avoidance education.

About This Cause

The CCPC is a ministry of life and hope. All our services are always free of charge and confidential, and all in need are welcome. Clients of the CCPC are served without regard to age, race, income, nationality, religious affiliation, disability, or other arbitrary circumstances. The CCPC fulfils many unmet needs in middle Tennessee through three main programs. The Pregnancy Program helps women involved in unplanned pregnancies who often feel vulnerable and afraid. CCPC peer counselors compassionately help women (and anyone else involved) make informed and well thought-out decisions for their future. As relationship is built and trust is formed, the power of fear is often broken so that decisions can be made from a place of hope. We also offer prenatal and parenting classes, mentoring, referrals, and help with essential material needs such as diapers, baby clothes, maternity clothes, and other baby items. The Abortion Recovery Program seeks to minister healing to those who have experienced abortion. Our safe and confidential in-depth peer counseling program aids in the process of understanding God's immense love. Through our Sexual Risk Avoidance Program, we seek to reduce teen pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections by providing middle and high school students with truthful and age-appropriate education about the physical and emotional risks of sexual activity outside of marriage. By presenting an abstinence-only message in area schools and other church or community groups, we are able to impart the truth of each person's intrinsic value and worth.
