Community Concerns, Inc., is a private, non- profit 501c3 designated organization, designed to meet the needs of the homeless and impoverished. This agency has been operating since 1988 and has an emphasis on placing homeless families and single adults into appropriate and affordable housing options.
About This Cause
Community Concerns, Inc., is a private non-profit, 501c3 designated agency that offers a holistic approach to ending homelessness for adults and families in the Metropolitan Atlanta Area. We offer daily meals, case management and supportive housing designed to promote independence and self - sufficiency. Case Managers facilitate the development of Individualized Plans, tailored to address the specific barriers that keep clients homeless and impoverished. Special emphasis is placed on addressing those with special needs, and connecting them with the most appropriate resource to facilitate mobility towards the highest level of self - sufficiency in the least restrictive environment. Those who are able to work are encouraged to maintain a work schedule of at least 30 hrs. In addition, they are encouraged to explore vocational training and opportunities for higher education to increase the likelihood for a greater level of independence as they exit the program.
