Youth Enhancement Services (YES), Inc. empowers underserved youth ages 16 to 24 through mentorship, professional development, and educational pathways that break cycles of poverty and build sustainable futures. We provide evidence-based programs that equip young people with the skills, support, and opportunities needed to thrive personally, academically, and professionally.
About This Cause
Founded in 1990, Youth Enhancement Services (YES), Inc. is a Georgia-based nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of underserved youth ages 16 to 24. Our mission is to provide mentorship, professional development, alternative education, and workforce readiness programs that empower young people to overcome barriers and achieve sustainable success. Through our flagship initiative—Just One Youth (JOY)—we deliver trauma-informed, community-based services that prioritize emotional well-being, career pathways, and social responsibility. From GED preparation and career coaching to mentorship and technical training, YES serves as a bridge between disconnection and opportunity, helping youth reclaim their futures with dignity and purpose. YES partners with local governments, businesses, faith-based institutions, and grassroots organizations to build a village of support around each young person we serve. Every donation helps us reduce recidivism, break generational poverty, and create safer, more equitable communities.
