Mission Statement
Golden Retriever Rescue of Atlanta (GRRA) seeks to rescue and re-home golden retrievers and labrador retrievers from animal shelters in Georgia, primarily in the Atlanta metro area.
About This Cause
Started in 1991, GRRA, an all volunteer organization, is registered with the State of Georgia and is licensed by the State Agriculture Department as an animal shelter and rescue group. GRRA provides complete veterinary care for all rescued dogs. All dogs are housed in foster homes to evaluate personality and behavior. Volunteers interview adopter families to determine home and lifestyle factors so that each dog can be matched with the right forever home.
