About This Cause
The Good Samaritan Health Center (Good Sam) was founded in 1998 with the mission of “spreading Christ’s love through quality healthcare to those in need.” Now in our 26th year of service, we have faithfully provided the Full Circle of Health to more than 600,000 patient encounters since our founding. Six days a week, we serve individuals from 35 counties across Georgia through medical, dental, behavioral health, physical fitness, food access and health education resources. Averaging 34,000 patient encounters (approximately 6,700 distinct individuals) annually, we welcome the uninsured, underinsured, and those experiencing homelessness to establish a true medical home at Good Sam in hopes of increasing their life expectancies and quality of life.
