Mission Statement
The Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF) helps alleviate the financial burden felt by adult patients in Metro Atlanta who are struggling financially because of the costs of a cancer diagnosis and treatment.
About This Cause
Since our formation in 2001, ACCF's Patient Financial Assistance program has helped over 13,600 cancer patients by providing over $4 Million dollars of funding for their most critical financial needs. We serve the 17-county Metro Atlanta area, and assistance is not limited to patients with a specific type of cancer, or those being treated at a specific practice or facility. Patients are typically referred by their medical provider, then contacted by a member of the Foundation's team to see how we can best reduce their financial stress. ACCF assistance is fast, flexible and compassionate. At every step, our goal is to help patients with whatever their most pressing financial need may be, so they can focus on what matters most - their health. Among the most common needs with which ACCF can help are utility bills; housing costs; prescriptions, durable medical equipment and other medical costs; insurance costs; transportation expenses; and nutritional assistance.
