Mission Statement

The mission of Wilkes County, Georgia 4-H is to assist youth in acquiring knowledge, developing life skills, and forming attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing, productive and contributing members of society.

About This Cause

4-H empowers young people with the skills to lead for a lifetime. This is accomplished through hand-on experiences where adult mentors help youth learn by doing. Youth select from a menu of hands-on projects in areas like science, health, agriculture, and citizenship.
