Mission Statement
Feathered Friends Forever is a State-of-Georgia licensed animal shelter and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Harlem, Georgia. Feathered Friends Forever works diligently to improve the lives of companion birds by providing them with an intermittent or permanent safe haven as it endeavors to further advance avian welfare through public education and awareness efforts. In the past 22 years, Feathered Friends Forever has found loving homes for over 1,000 of our feathered friends.
About This Cause
We are a veteran founded, all volunteer run parrot rescue and sanctuary with a focus on education and rehabilitation. Our goal is to provide forever homes to the many abandoned, abused, neglected or otherwise unwanted parrots at our facility. In circumstances where human interaction is not possible, we provide a flock environment in outdoor aviaries at our facility. We offer temporary and long term boarding, which is free to all deployed military personnel.
