About This Cause

The Rehabilitation Center for Children and Adults (RCCA) began as the Crippled Children’s Society in 1940. RCCA was established by Margaret Pope Hovey to provide physical rehabilitation to those with Polio in our community. To meet the changing needs of the community, the preschool opened in 1960 to offer children with special needs a comprehensive learning and therapeutic program. An aquatic therapy program was added in 1966 to provide exercise in warm water to enhance our core services of occupational and physical therapy as well as speech and language pathology. RCCA remains the only not-for-profit organization providing physical rehabilitation services in the Town of Palm Beach. RCCA serves individuals of all ages regardless of insurance or financial abilities. RCCA is a current and valid 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in accordance with the standards and regulations of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). EIN # 59-0791037
