Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Homestead Soup Kitchen to serve those members in our community in need of a hot meal, regardless of circumstances by having a "no questions asked policy."
About This Cause
As in integral part of the South Dade community, Homestead Soup Kitchen, a non-profit organization run solely by volunteers, served its first meal on Thanksgiving Day of 1983, and it continues to prepare and serve meals every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. In 2023, over 41,000 meals were provided to the less fortunate in the Homestead area.
