About This Cause
The Foundation for Orange County Public Schools is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and the designated direct support organization for the ninth largest school district in the nation, serving more than 209,000 students and nearly 25,000 employees (including nearly 15,000 teachers) in 196 Orange County Public Schools. Established in 1987, the Foundation's purpose is to invest in our students today to strengthen our community tomorrow. In addition to raising funds, the Foundation also serves as a one-stop shop for community collaborations around education and as the fiscal agent for 117 school and district funds.
