Mission Statement
The purpose of the Association of St. Jude is fourfold: 1) To raise the consciousness of its members and also of our community to the needs of the poor and homeless in our midst; 2) To offer the opportunity for service to the needy through some of the volunteer work needed; 3) To contribute financially in service to families; 4) To offer prayer support for the work of the association and the needs of the people served.
About This Cause
We are a Panama City, Florida based non-profit corporation working as an outreach to those in need in Bay County, Florida. In 1989, parishioners at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church incorporated The Association of St. Jude as a non-profit, all-volunteer, non-denominational, independent organization to provide charitable assistance to the homeless and needy of Bay County, Florida. The Association relies on your generosity and fund raising projects, such as an annual flea market, and a dinner and silent auction to fund its missions. As an all volunteer organization, all donations go to those we serve. You can help our efforts through prayers, active participation, and financial assistance. Donations may be made in honor or memory of friends and family.
