About This Cause
Since 1989, Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful has provided bay-area residents with opportunities for meaningful service. The main focus areas are litter prevention, waste reduction, conservation and beautification. Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful provides a unique experience for individuals to make a local impact in our community. We offer a variety of service projects to work with groups of all sizes and ages. We use the three “E’s” of community engagement: Education, Environment and Events. Combining our programs creates a cohesive community effort for change. We believe that by engaging volunteers, we extend the reach of our educational efforts and multiply the impact of our actions. Education is the starting point for encouraging positive attitudes and behaviors toward community preservation and improvement. Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful engages the community to become lifelong stewards of our environment. Change and improvement begins with personal responsibility. We help individuals find ways to become more involved through our programs and volunteer opportunities. We are so proud of the more than 250,000 volunteers who have given their time and energy to support our mission.
