Mission Statement
The Louisville Metro Police Foundation exists to enhance the effectiveness of the Louisville Metro Police Department by using private donations to assist officers and their families and provide much needed equipment and programs, thereby making Louisville a safer place to live, work and visit. The Louisville Metro Police Foundation is a private, independent and nonprofit organization. The Louisville Metro Police Foundation is the only organization authorized to raise funds on behalf of LMPD.
