Mission Statement
We are a committed group of 70 plus passionate volunteers who believe our Crestwood area community deserves a safety net for homeless domesticated animals. We work hard to adopt out animals pulled from overcrowded rural facilities as well as welcome relinquishment on a case by case basis.
About This Cause
Welcome to the Crestwood Animal Shelter. The shelter is run by the volunteers of Friends of Animal Control and Rescue (FOACAR), a Crestwood Missouri based 501c(3) organization dedicated to the care and welfare of animals. Our shelter, located in Whitecliff Park, is an independent, nonprofit, no-kill adoption center for cats, kittens, and dogs. Our visiting hours are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Look for announcements of our Adoption Events which will be posted on our website, Petfinder.com and our Facebook page. We are located at 9225 Whitecliff Park Lane, Crestwood MO 63126.
