Mission Statement
Our mission is to facilitate permanent supportive housing for those who are homeless and to provide services to prevent homelessness.
About This Cause
The Resource Center is a day-time facility where clients work with case managers to create a detailed path to permanent supportive housing. The Resource Center is a safe place that offers classes, computer access, laundry, showers, and meals. The Bush Family Refuge works with marginally housed individuals and families to help them stay in housing. The trained Refuge volunteers, under the supervision of a full time coordinator, help problem solve, create budgets, identify resources, arrange medical help, provide clothes, and other provide other services as deemed necessary. The VMC Dental Clinic offers free dental care to the homeless and indigent of Knoxville.
