Mission Statement
The mission of Decatur Morgan Hospital Foundation is to cultivate relationships and develop philanthropic support to benefit the healthcare services provided to our community by Decatur Morgan Hospital. A not-for-profit hospital, Decatur Morgan Hospital provides care to all who need it, regardless of ability to pay, yet receives no tax support from the city and county. Since the establishment of the Foundation in 1983, contributions have helped fund many important programs and services.
About This Cause
The Decatur Morgan Hospital Foundation was established in 1984 to provide financial support to the Decatur Morgan Hospital. With four campuses, Decatur Morgan Hospital provides quality healthcare to all who need it regardless of their ability to pay. Decatur Morgan Hospital receives no tax revenue from the City of Decatur or Morgan County. Charitable gifts made by individuals, businesses, churches and other community organizations are used to purchase life-saving equipment.
