Mission Statement
Casa de Angeles Foundation was created in 2000 to provide funds to build and operate an orphanage near Antigua, Guatemala.
About This Cause
The Foundation has collected the funds to allow the building of dormitories, common areas such as kitchen and dining facilities, a multi-purpose room, computer rooms, a large children's library, laundry facilities and an infirmary. In addition a pre-school through middle school has been build and is operated on premises. Sports facilities such as a basketball court and soccer fields for both younger and older children have been built. A barn and animal facilities and a vegetable garden further enhance the education of the children. The single largest item in our $225,000 per year ongoing budget is for education at all levels, from pre-school to our two university students. This category now accounts for just under 50% of the budget.
