Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide Japanese language based education and introduce Japanese culture to children and their families living in the Seattle and Eastside area. We want to encourage children to develop their Japanese identity as Japanese Americans. We welcome all children and families who have an interest in learning about Japan and its culture. Our hope is that Suginoko children will serve as a bridge between Japan and United States in the future.
About This Cause
We operate as a Japanese language preschool and child care center. All our educational activities are conducted in Japanese. By introducing and explaining the major cultural events of Japan, as they occur throughout the school year, we hope to clarify the beliefs and values of the Japanese people.
