Mission Statement

WildCare provides people a place to bring wildlife struggling to survive with the goal of releasing healthy individuals back into the wild.

About This Cause

WildCare believes that all species are important to the health of the planet so for that reason WildCare accepts all species of native wildlife be it bobcat or mouse, blue-jay or eagle, that are injured, ill. or orphaned, with the goal of releasing healthy individuals back into the wild. WildCare started in 1984 and currently accepts over 7,200 animals annually from over 270 different species. WildCare's trained veterinary team, staff, fellows, twiinterns, and volunteers provide professional medical care, nutrition and housing appropriate for each species. Once they are assessed as releasable, appropriate habitat is identified from our list of approved release sites, and they are released back to the wild.
