Mission Statement
The Hindu Temple of Greater Tulsa was established to serve the devotional, cultural and spiritual needs of the Hindu Community in an around Tulsa. To help promote the understanding of Hindu religion, its practices and way of life among the Hindu families. To be involved in religious, cultural, educational, social and charitable activities and to assist in meeting with the needs of the community.
About This Cause
Hindu Temple of Greater Tulsa is involved in providing Homeless Shelter meals 4 to 5 times a year. We prepare the meals along with volunteers and serve it at the day center. We support Tulsa day center in its mission to help families in need find and build a home. We spearhead a collection every winter for this cause. Collected items get delivered to Tulsa Day center. In addition, we also serve free food every Sunday at the temple other than the temple related festivals.
