Mission Statement
Allen Temple Health and Social Service Ministries (ATHSSM) is an Oakland based non-profit organization founded in 2002. (ATHSSM) has been providing support to the city of Oakland and Alameda County’s most needy residents for more than 20 years. It is one of the non profit community service affiliates of Allen Temple Baptist Church which has been in the lifesaving business for 91 years.
About This Cause
The mission of Allen Temple Health and Social Services Ministries is to strengthen and stabilize families by assisting them to create and maintain healthy environments. The ministries are dedicated to supporting the economically disadvantaged with education, spiritual support, and exposure to positive approaches to life. We provide weekly hot meals and Medical Nutrition Therapy for persons living with HIV/AIDS, DV/Anger Management Counseling Services, Parenting Classes, Workforce Development Bridge Services and more.
