Mission Statement
The Jewish Federation of Greater Houston makes a difference in Jewish lives through annual community-wide fundraising. Money raised through the Annual Campaign benefits millions of Jewish people in need - in Houston, across the U.S., in Israel, in Argentina, in the Former Soviet Union, in Ethiopia, and in nearly 60 other countries around the world by granting funds to organizations to accomplish feeding the hungry, educating the young, caring for the old, comforting the sick, counseling the troubled, rescuing the oppressed, calming the frightened, and providing a voice for those unable to speak for themselves.
