Mission Statement

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

About This Cause

The South Texas Council, Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America) serves youth and families in 17 counties in South Texas. Over 2,000 youth and 700 adult volunteers participate in Scouting programs in over 100 units across the region.
