Established in 1963, Lifetime Recovery transforms lives through comprehensive substance use disorder treatment, aligning with our commitment to making quality care accessible to all. Lifetime Recovery provides residential treatment, outpatient counseling, and recovery supportive services to help individuals achieve and maintain sobriety, empowering them to become healthy, productive members of the community. Our programs bridge a critical gap and are available to every person who walks though our doors. No one is turned away for lack of financial resources, we ensure that all individuals who want help, receive it. Lifetime Recovery is accredited by CARF, the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. This widely recognized achievement provides referral sources, clients and their families, and the community, the assurance that Lifetime adheres to the highest standards in the provision of care.
About This Cause
Residential Treatment: Upon admission, each client receives a personalized treatment plan and a medical evaluation by a healthcare professional. Residential Treatment is 45 to 90 days and includes: - Individual and group therapy. - Educational sessions & controlled group activities. - Onsite non-emergency medical care and routine physicals. - If needed, psychiatric care is provided by licensed psychiatrists. - Onsite Recovery Group Meetings. - Access to Recovery Coaching & Supportive Services. Outpatient Counseling: Participants can stay at home, maintain their jobs, and remain with their families. - 2 to 3 classes per week for a period of 3 to 6 months depending on their individual treatment plans. - Education sessions, individual and group counseling, and peer support to help build a strong foundation for long-term sobriety. Supportive Services: Our Recovery Coaches are designed to walk alongside individuals at every stage of their recovery journey. – Short-term guidance for those starting treatment, including peer support, transportation, ID recovery, and wellness resources. - Recovery Coaching provides long-term support that continues for a year after treatment, focusing on sobriety, stable housing, legal matters, and community connections. - Peer support groups, career guidance, and nutrition education, our team ensures that no one faces recovery alone. NO ONE IS EVER TURNED AWAY FOR LACK OF FINANCIAL RESOURCES. The HOPE is REAL. - Seamless transition from residential treatment to outpatient counseling and into recovery coaching & supportive services. - Holistic continuum of care ensures that clients receive ongoing recovery support for up to a year. - Wrap-around services to address the root causes of substance use significantly reduces the likelihood of relapse and promotes long-term well-being. - Lifetime collaborates with other organizations, federal, state & county government entities, including Bexar County's specialty courts and jail diversion programs. - Our programs increase rates of family reunification and stable employment, while reducing child neglect & abuse, homelessness, emergency room visits, and recidivism.
