Mission Statement
The Institute of Chinese Culture (ICC) was incorporated in Texas in 1970 as a non-profit educational institution. Our mission is to enhance the appreciation of the Chinese language and culture through our various educational programs and a variety of community activities throughout the year.
About This Cause
Since 1970, the Institute of Chinese Culture was established by devoted parents as a nonprofit organization to share the richness of Chinese language and culture, and it has illuminated the paths of countless students and families. Today, we stand on the threshold of an exciting new venture—a milestone that promises to extend our cherished values and educational excellence to even more learners: the inception of ICC Mandarin Immersion Elementary School. Starting in the 2024-2025 school year, ICC Elementary School proudly expands our Mandarin Immersion Program to include 1st grade, now offering a seamless language learning journey from PreK 2 through 1st grade. At ICC, we believe in the transformative power of bilingual education and are committed to providing our students with a comprehensive Mandarin and English dual-language curriculum. Our program is meticulously designed to prepare students for global competence, emphasizing a strong STEM focus within a project-based learning framework.
