Mission Statement
HITS Theatre educates, trains, and inspires youth by providing professional-level performing arts education in a collaborative and culturally diverse environment that allows for personal growth and provides each student with the highest level of skill and artistry.
About This Cause
For over 40 years, HITS Theatre has been transforming the lives of Houston area children through the magic of theatre. At HITS, we believe theater provides a unique learning opportunity, which allows children exposure to ideas and imagery that reflect their own experiences while challenging their understanding of the world in which they live. Each year, HITS serves approximately 900 students, grades K through 12, by providing after-school and weekend performances taught by skilled theatre professionals. Classes, organized by age group, culminate in a public performance at HITS Theatre in the Heights.
