Mission Statement
Larimer County Search and Rescue provides essential services to those lost or injured in the wilderness as well as public education in wilderness safety. LCSAR is a nonprofit 501c3 organization made up of all volunteers, upaid professionals, that is available 24/7, 365 days a year to help those in need at no cost.
About This Cause
The Larimer County Search & Rescue team’s mission or objective is to provide professional search and rescue assistance to the sheriff, residents and visitors of Larimer County, or wherever our services are needed, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. People from adjoining communities and all over the world visit Larimer County every day. Our services are provided at no cost to the county, or to any persons in need of our assistance. In addition we provide educational programs in the community. The intent of our involvement is always to promote safety and health in the outdoors and to give everyone the tools they need to have a safe and healthy outdoor experience.
