GRASP provides assistance to needy families and the elderly by providing Noon Congregate Meals, Senior Activities, Senior Transportation, Human Services providing financial help for rent and utilities, Emergency Food Pantry, Home delivered meals, information and referrals.
About This Cause
Founded in 1983, Greater Randolph Area Services Programs targets low-income families and Elderly persons who reside in northeast Bexar County and Guadalupe County, Texas. GRASP promotes independent and healthy lifestyles for isolated seniors by providing a nutrition program for hot lunches, home bound meals, and daily activities. Transportation Services are provided for appointments and medical or shopping trips. Low Income families avoid disconnection of utilities or eviction with financial assistance and information and referrals leading to self-sufficiency. A food pantry distributes baskets of food daily. GRASP is a United Way Agency.
