Mission Statement: The Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation’s mission is to develop and allocate resources to the Round Rock Independent School District to enrich, enhance, and maximize the quality of education for all students.
About This Cause
The RRISD Partners in Education Foundation was founded in 1985 when leaders from the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce, the Greater North West Austin Chamber of Commerce, the RRISD Council of PTA’s and Round Rock ISD Administration joined forces to uphold and encourage excellence in education through the direct involvement and support of local businesses and community organizations. The Foundation has a 35 year history rich in success. Goals: The Partners in Education Foundation encourages academic excellence in the Round Rock Independent School District schools by: • Providing funds for innovative academic programs. • Acknowledging and rewarding exemplary teaching. • Providing an avenue for business and community members to enhance the education process. • Promoting public awareness and celebrating successful programs and the achievement of excellence. The Foundation currently supports supports school supplies for those in need, recognition of Teachers through Teacher of the Year program, Teacher grants, Scholarships to graduating Seniors, PPE, hygiene kits and Happy Birthday Boxes for students who otherwise would not be celebrated, as well as, a variety of support of District initials involving social and emotional learning. We have also provided support for STEM and other academic needs.
