Mission Statement
The mission of Child Advocates San Antonio (CASA) is to recruit, develop, and lead highly impactful court-appointed volunteer Advocates who provide constancy and support for children who have experienced abuse and neglect. We achieve our mission through advocacy for services, supportive connections, and permanency, while emphasizing family reunification when possible.
About This Cause
CASA volunteers are appointed by a judge to advocate for children who have been removed from their home due to abuse or neglect. Our volunteers ensure these children aren't forgotten by amplifying their voice in court. For many children, their CASA volunteer is the one reliable adult presence in their lives throughout the time that they are in the foster care system.
