The Foundation’s mission is to promote and defend liberty, personal responsibility, and free enterprise in Texas and the nation by educating and affecting policymakers and the Texas public policy debate with academically sound research and outreach.
About This Cause
For more than 30 years, the Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF) has been a beacon of liberty, opportunity, and prosperity for Texas and the nation. A state-based think tank with national reach, TPPF advances the principles—limited government, personal responsibility, and free enterprise—that ensure human flourishing by disseminating our high-quality research, data, policy analyses, and storytelling. We fight for liberty at every level of government: At the local level, we advocate fiercely for transparency; at the state level, we plead for fiscal restraint and efficiency; and at the federal level, we offer a litany of state-level successes that are vital to informing national policy discussions. We viscerally understand that as Texas goes, so goes the nation. We fight for the policies that promote prosperity and innovation through our strategic campaigns and initiatives.
