Mission Statement
Our Mission:Our mission is to serve stray, abandoned, orphaned, abused and injured companion animals by providing medical care and shelter in times of need, locating lifelong homes, and promoting responsible pet guardianship through education, legislation and sterilization.
About This Cause
For over 22 years Animal Rescue League of El Paso has been serving El Paso and surrounding areas. The community’s support is the reason we have been able continue with our mission, to save and find new homes for the thousands of dogs and cats that find themselves homeless. Since 1995, Animal Rescue has grown to become one of the oldest, largest, and most respected no-kill rescue organizations in our area. We are volunteer based and receive no federal or state funds. As a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation, all donations whether cash or donation of goods are tax deductible to the full extent of the law and receive an acknowledgement for tax purposes. To date, over 22,000 animals have been rescued, received medical care, been spayed/neutered and placed into loving, permanent responsible homes In addition to our daily rescue work, we are very involved in our community through education in the schools, partnering with local law enforcement on animal abuse issues, service projects with Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, working with the “PAWS” in Detention Program at the El Paso County Sheriff’s Department and many other worthwhile outreach efforts.
