To promote cultural diversity in North America by promoting performing artists from India. To service seniors and other under served sections of the community by arranging musical therapy workshops.
About This Cause
India Fine Arts, Inc. is a non profit 501(C3)) tax exempt organization incorporated in Austin Texas. The goal it to promote and popularize Indian music in North America by sponsoring distinguished artists from India and by arranging concerts, ballets, dances and workshops. Also to develop a curriculam for world music focused on South Indian Carnatic traditions and supply some good music and dance teachers to schools. Arrange lecture and workshops for student in the area to foster greater appreciation for Indian music. Use the raga based Indian music to do musical therapy workshops for seniors in senior homes.
