Mission Statement

Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center’s (WCCAC) mission is to provide hope, healing, and justice for children and families impacted by abuse, violence, and exploitation in our community. We envision a community where children grow up safe and free from abuse.

About This Cause

The Williamson County Children's Advocacy Center (WCCAC) is a non-profit organization that offers specialized services to aid in the investigation of child abuse and crimes witnessed by children. Williamson County Children's Advocacy Center offers a multidisciplinary response to the child abuse case. The WCCAC provides a child-sensitive, safe environment for children to report abuse. It is both the PLACE where children come to talk and the PROCESS of bringing together the agencies charged with investigating and prosecuting abuse. We serve children through 17 years of age throughout all of Williamson County, Texas. The benefits of the WCCAC are numerous to the community, but more so to the child victims. With the use of the WCCAC, there are significantly fewer interviews for a victim (so trauma is reduced), a greater level of support for families, and a stronger investigation. Our Multi-Disciplinary Team (including law enforcement, CPS, the District Attorney's Office, and Victim Services) meets monthly to discuss each case. All our services are provided free of charge.
