Mission Statement
The 100 Black Men of San Antonio, Inc., chartered in June 1999, expresses our unique interest in the development of youth of color throughout the San Antonio region. The 100 Black Men of San Antonio, Inc. are a key part of the San Antonio community that strives to enhance the lives of young males as well as other disadvantaged youth throughout the city of San Antonio.
About This Cause
The 100 Black Men of SA is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization and our mission is to improve the quality of life within our communities through mentoring. Our mentoring efforts are focused in key areas such as education, economic empowerment, health & wellness, and leadership development. Our vision is to serve as a beacon of leadership by presenting ourselves as Real Men Giving Real Time: this will help to create environments where our children are motivated to achieve great success. Thus, becoming self-sufficient shareholders in the economic and social fabric of our communities. The 100 Black Men of San Antonio, Inc. shares the philosophy of President Barack Obama in his initiative, My Brother’s Keeper. That is, enhancing the lives of young men of color, particularly those most disadvantaged within our communities.
