Mission Statement
Homes of Hope for Children’s mission is to serve hurting children throughout Mississippi by providing strong Christian homes to every child that comes to live with us while ensuring that each child is loved unconditionally and has their physical, spiritual and emotional needs met.
About This Cause
We serve children here at Homes of Hope for Children who need a place to live, not because of anything they have done wrong, but simply because of their circumstance in life. Children ages 3 to 18 may come to live on our campus. We have two cottages, one for seven boys and one for seven girls. We are currently serving 19 boys and girls, many of whom are siblings. This allows brothers and sisters to grow up together. One of the most unique aspects of our ministry is the fact that we fight the legal battles that have to be fought in order for many children to escape the poverty/abuse that is destroying their life. Most of the children we serve are with us because of a legal battle that we fought on their behalf. Homes of Hope for Children is a ministry that’s impacting generations every single day. Children may live here on our campus as long as they need to live in a safe, loving environment. Our goal of family reunification is only sought after we feel it is in the best interest for all parties involved. Children may live with us for as little as several months or until they graduate high school, after which they may remain in our transitional living program.
