Mission Statement
Our mission is to embrace humanity and its resourcefulness, and provide academic and enrichment opportunities that engage and empower vulnerable youth and families, living in under-resourced communities to achieve academic success, healthy lives, and dignity.
About This Cause
Children & Charity International (CAC) utilizes philanthropic and charitable efforts so they could have a positive impact in our world. The organization is vetted and accredited as a service provider by the District of Columbia Public Schools, and other federal agencies. CAC provides expanded learning engagement for youth from Kindergarten thru College. Our programs include homework help; academic enrichment; science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM); social enrichment; job-training; workforce development; mentoring; and apprenticeship. We provide nutritious meals and personal care packages; and support children and families through visiting international mission trips by teams that conduct free medical and dental clinics, and corrective heart surgeries. As a mentoring organization we utilize charity and education to teach and empower people to take responsibility for their lives. We accomplish our mission partnering with churches, leaders, groups, and organizations.
