About This Cause
The Young Men's Christian Association or YMCA or simply the Y is volunteered founded and volunteer led. The Y was chartered in Plainview Texas in 1956 and has health and wellness centers, and programs in Brownfield Texas as well. The Plainview Y serves over 18000 individuals annually with the help of over 1100 volunteers. Together we promote healthy living, youth development and social responsibility.
