About This Cause
The Rose reduces deaths from breast cancer by providing access to screening mammograms, early diagnosis, and treatment services if necessary to anyone regardless of their ability to pay. Founded in 1986, The Rose serves 43 counties in Southeast Texas through two breast health centers, an East Texas HUB, and five mobile mammography coaches. These mobile units allow us to serve patients where they live, pray, and work and reach rural communities. We are proud to have the highest ratings from independent charity watch groups. We are also a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, providing top-notch care and technology. Our mission is to ensure any woman (or man) has access to care and doesn't die from breast cancer simply because they can't afford care. From the initial screening mammogram, through diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound and biopsies as well as access to treatment -- all are part of the quality breast health care and continuum of care The Rose provides.
