Mission Statement
We are getting ready for our annual School Carnival (March 28th) and are requesting either financial donations or donations of products, services, or gift certificates/ gift cards from our community. This is our PTA’s primary fundraiser and community support is critical to success. In addition to carnival games and activities for our students and families, we will auction off gift cards, merchandise, and services generously donated by businesses and families like yours.
About This Cause
The money raised from the Silent Auction/Carnival helps to provide educational materials and programs, enrich the student curriculum, assists with technology and cultural arts programs and with our character development programs. The Ward PTA also supports activities that promote school spirit and family involvement in educational activities. Ward Elementary currently has roughly 600 students enrolled in kindergarten through 5th grade. Our boundaries include families from Bay Glen, Bay Glen Manor, Bay Knoll, Oakbrook West, and several apartment complexes in zip code 77062. We would greatly appreciate any donation you can make, whether it be monetary or product/service oriented. Carnival sponsorship levels are as follows: GOLD - $1000 donation; SILVER - $500 donation; BRONZE - $250 donation. Gold and Silver level sponsors will have an opportunity to set up a booth or table at the Carnival to pass out promotional items and information and will be identified in all promotional information for the event. Also in acknowledgement of your generosity, ALL donations will be recognized on auction displays at the event, in the school newsletter, and on PTA social media sites.
