Mission Statement
The purpose of Lamar SC is to provide an opportunity for the youth of Fort Bend County, in Texas, to develop soccer skills, to foster proper attitudes toward competition and sportsmanship, to learn respect for rules, the value of teamwork, self-discipline, and the gaining of self-confidence through the improvement of their soccer skills. Most importantly, the purpose is to provide a fun and enjoyable experience for all participants. Programs are organized for children based on their age and skill level.
About This Cause
Lamar SC is a 501c(3) non-profit youth sports organization. We consist of an all-volunteer board, staff and coaches. Our intention, in being an all-volunteer club, is to keep registration fees as low as possible to help middle to low income families provide their children an opportunity to be involved in a sport. Many families in our area are middle to low income minority families that cannot afford the higher prices of other sports clubs. We want to offer all children the opportunity to learn the sport of soccer and keep them active.
