Mission Statement
To support, improve, and promote, the educational and emotional well-being of Memorial Elementary students, staff, and their families.
About This Cause
Memorial Elementary PTO is organized exclusively for charitable, literary, educational, and scientific purposes as specified in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. The purpose of this corporation is: a. To promote the educational and emotional well-being of Memorial Elementary children. b. To encourage closer communication, cooperation, and understanding among parents, teachers, staff, and students of Memorial Elementary. c. To provide opportunities for discussion of issues pertaining to the school and community and to engage in appropriate action on those issues. d. To represent Memorial Elementary parents and teachers to community and public-school organizations. e. To improve the educational experience of Memorial Elementary's students, staff and families through various means available to us, including: hosting events, providing appreciation gifts or experiences, funding educational seminars, and more.
