Mission Statement

The Mission of the WWGC is to Mobilize individuals, neighborhoods, government agencies, businesses and foundations to support the creation of the Willow Waterhole Conservation Reserve.

About This Cause

The Willow Waterhole Greenspace Conservancy (WWGC) is a diverse and broad-based group of citizens dedicated to the creation of the Willow Waterhole Greenway Project, which is part of Harris County Flood Control and US Army Corpof Engineers' Project Brays. The project is an exciting combination of major flood control, a $70M series of wet-bottom detention lakes, and Greenspace in a 291-acre park in Southwest Houston. See an entire timeline of events since the inception of the Conservancy here. The WWGC is also a Guide Star Gold-level Exchange participant, demonstrating its commitment to transparency.
