The Mountain View Educational Foundation works collaboratively with the community to raise funds for essential programs with a goal of ensuring a well-rounded education for all Mountain View Whisman School District students.
About This Cause
About MVEF The Mountain View Educational Foundation is a volunteer-driven non-profit that works in collaboration with the community to bring essential programs to all Mountain View Whisman School District (MVWSD) schools. State funding is not enough! We raise and distribute critical funds that the government does not provide, ensuring that all our students get a competitive, well-rounded education. MVEF funds over One Million Dollars annually in core programs for MVWSD. *Art and Music Lessons by Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) *Musical Instrument repair and replacement *Hands-On Science *Living Classroom Instruction *Environmental Science Education and field trips in the 4th and 5th grade *Reduced English Language Arts classes at the middle schools with one additional ELA teacher at each school *Middle school clubs, teacher stipends and athletics, including coaches, referees and buses. These programs would not exist without donations to MVEF.
