Mission Statement
MBA Challenge for Charity was organized at Stanford University in 1984 to solicit donations for the purpose of helping Special Olympics. Since then, C4C has grown into a consortium of nine west coast business schools. Today C4C includes Pepperdine, Stanford, UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, USC, UC Davis, the University of San Francisco, and the University of Washington. Each school works independently as well as collaboratively with the other schools to solicit donations. Together they raise about $500,000 annually, which are distributed among 20+ charitable organizations.
