Our mission is to provide an authentic Montessori education in a nurturing school community. With a strong emphasis on academics, creativity and peace education we provide a learning experience that promotes confidence, individual responsibility and a strong sense of global citizenship.
About This Cause
Casa di Mir teaches essential academic and life skills to empower Pre-K-8th grade students to become enthusiastic learners and 21st century leaders. We use authentic Montessori teaching methods to tailor learning experiences to the needs of each child. Our highly qualified and dedicated faculty members appreciate and support each child’s interests and abilities. Students experience a well-rounded education in which peace education, fine arts, music, Spanish, physical education, health, and human development are part of the core curriculum. Casa di Mir encourages children’s empathy, integrity, respect, and confidence. Students learn successful communication and conflict resolution skills. Our strong, caring community is a cornerstone of Casa di Mir. We encourage deep connections and respect between everyone at the school. Casa di Mir provides a consistent learning environment from early childhood through middle school. Students progressively build their skills, confidence, and motivation, and have the opportunity to learn from and mentor others. Casa di Mir graduates are well prepared academically, socially and emotionally to succeed in school and in life.
