Mission Statement

Through the Surplus Harvest activity, we gather produce that otherwise would have gone to waste and deliver it to food pantries and shelters. Tikkun Ha-Ir also runs the Chop Shop Program for women inmates to gain culinary skills toward a certificate at MATC, and to make food more user friendly for the recipients.

About This Cause

Tikkun Ha-Ir of Milwaukee engages our local Jewish community to be active, thoughtful residents of the Milwaukee area. By working with other Jewish and local service organizations, we strive to alleviate the pressing needs of those most vulnerable in our community.
