Mission Statement
ABCTX supports Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments and Orientation and Mobility Instructors who plan programs for their students who are blind or visually impaired and that are not funded by the districts but provide critical hands-on experiences for the students in the areas of sports, cooking, recreation, technology, social skills and fine arts.
About This Cause
All Blind Children of Texas is a resource for the optimal physical, mental, emotional and social development of all blind, visually impaired and deafblind children of Texas. ABCTX screens, funds and facilitates their participation in programs, activities, events and projects designed by Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TSVI) that provide hands-on learning experiences that help to master the skills needed to work alongside sighted peers.
