The Brazilian Center is a grassroots, non-profit (501) c (3) organization that proactively assists at-risk children and provides assistance in helping individuals, families, and the community by means of our cultural awareness, humanitarian and educational programs. About This Cause
In an effort to merge unity and diversity, we provide each culture with a megaphone and a platform to stand proudly on! Sacramento is the 10th most diverse city in The United States of America. At The Cultural Exchange, we see the big picture. The only thing more beautiful then one culture is all the cultures united! Unique and proud, but most importantly together. With your donations, we plan to grow a culture made up of many backgrounds. Our vision is to keep the pride of everyone's heritage alive. Our organization improves the unity of its members in our surrounding community. It is our duty to nurture the alliance of the human race. In an effort to share culture we organize and host large annual festivals, cultural mixers, communal potlucks, live music/dance performances and more. We also educate our members on dance, language and cooking classes. In addition to our events and classes, we’ve been really focusing on funding human traffic prevention programs and building up our own. The statistics in Sacramento are huge and we’re determined to lower the number of people affected by this terrible crime.
